Email Marketing is a great way to build a great income, but due to spam filters and things like that, it has gotten harder to get your emails read. I personally recommend Aweber, they are the Industry’s standard. I have gone with cheaper ones before and most of the time the emails would end up in the reader’s junk mail. NOT GOOD! Now before we go any further I want to stress this is NOT for people who want to spam emails! We hate spam! Ok, let’s keep going.Email lists are not for spamming, no one like to receive junk in the inbox. Its one thing to get your emails into the reader’s inbox and it’s another to get them to open and read your email. So there are a few things to keep in mind.1. Always give good content to your readers. Over deliver, give up tips, advice, and updates, whatever. Just make sure it’s good, valuable content. By doing this you are positioning yourself as a professional and an expert. When people view you as this, they will look forward to seeing your name pop up in their inbox!2. Don’t try sell stuff! People don’t like to be sold, so just as we mentioned above, offer good content. If you are offering a products that helps people save money on their electric bill, don’t write all about your product. Write about the reader’s problems of spending too much on their electric bill and how that hard earned money could be going other places, then offer the solution (your product) but do it in a way that doesn’t seem like you are trying to cram something down their throat. Remember, you are an expert offering a solution to their problems.3.  Make sure your headline is good. A cool feature with Aweber is it will tell you how your headline ranks in the spam meter. So chose a headline that will grab the reader’s attention, but don’t word it like it’s another spam email.It’s a great idea to have an area right below your signature some a link to your web site or blog. So people can continue to find out more about you and what you are offering.
